Mile Long Oil Spill Off Coast Of India

The world witnessed another accident in offshore drilling for oil today. A pipeline carrying crude oil from an offshore drilling rig burst off the coast of Orissa, an Indian state on the eastern side of the subcontinent. A mile-long stretch of oil polluting the water has been observed as a result.
