Who supports U.S. government water torture?
Herman Cain, Tim Pawlenty and Rick Santorum. That’s who. (Source: May 5, 2011 Republican Presidential debate)
When old landmarks crumble, established roads no longer lead the way. New paths open to those with an irregular eye. Our news is unfit for print.

Paul clearly won that debate.
See drudge’s headline tonight
The wingnut party – vote for them if you want to end social security, abortion, medicare, education funding & many legal rights, and if you want to keep up the corporate influence in government,.
On the other hand vote for the dimocratlicans if you want to keep corporate control of the government, keep up the wars at all costs and compromise with the wingnuts on everything.
Some fucking choice.
The thing is, we can’t afford those social programs any more than we can afford our wars. It’s going to come down to a matter of whether or not the money will be good for funding these things, and the money failure, not just policy, will ultimately end these costly roles of government regardless of political intentions. Agree or disagree, it doesn’t matter. ‘Reality’ doesn’t take sides, and eventually, it will hit us.
Well said Andy, we can’t print money forever! There comes a point of no return, and we are near it. Reality always comes crashing into the world of idiots and addicts. We need an strong defence, but for our own security, within the boundries of the US. Social Security is and always has been an unworkable ponzi scheme, relying on an ever expanding work force that makes more and more money.
