The primary question about the Republican presidential campaign of Gary Johnson is this: Who is Gary Johnson?

Seeking an answer to this question, I looked to the most direct source: What Gary Johnson says about his own presidential campaign. I grabbed the text from the issue pages of Gary Johnson’s 2012 campaign web site, and processed it through the word cloud generator provided by Wordle. The result is seen below:

This graphic represents which words the Gary Johnson uses most often. From this visual analysis, the key issue of the Gary Johnson for President campaign is easy to identify: It’s the legalization of currently illegal drugs, especially marijuana. Only Internet freedom comes anywhere close.

Medicare? It’s a minor issue for Gary Johnson. War? It’s a non-issue for Johnson. Education? It’s nothing compared to what Gary Johnson wants to do with drugs.

Given this clear focus of the Gary Johnson for President campaign, do you think we can expect his grassroots support to be energetic and focused?
