According to the “founding fathers”, this would indicate that it’s time for a change of government – get rid of the oligarchy we have now and replace it with one that follows the Constitutional design. No president oversteps his prescribed limits, no signing statements; Congress composed of popular members of the citizenry chosen in a publicly funded election using PAPER ballots and held to strict term limits; and a judiciary that isn’t fascist and upholds the Constitution and actually insists on the rule of law. Corporations are not people and have no “speech” rights; and lobbyists are outlawed. Anyone trying to influence a legislator with favors or money is shot on sight, and the beneficial effects of legislation on the environment and the citizenry is the sole basis of making decisions on all laws. The TSA is banned, homeland security is disbanded and healthcare and all education is provided to all citizens free, while the military takes a 75% “haircut” in its funding.
That would be a good start.
