Watch Jill Stein For A New Kind Of Presidential Politics
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/democratsforjillstein.jpg
Unlike Mitt Romney and Barack Obama, who are aiming for a billion dollars in corporate-connected contributions each, Jill Stein is choosing to avoid the big money route in her presidential campaign. Stein will accept matching campaign funds, which means that she’ll be limited in how much she can spend.

Hedging Chris Christie With Buttons and Bumper Stickers
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/whoantichristie.jpg
If Christie should happen to run, these items will be ready for Americans seeking to organize opposition. For now, however, we’re keeping these items in the New Jersey section of our Irregular States store. After all, Chris Christie isn’t just a bad potential presidential candidate.

Ron Paul Competes With Rick Perry For Title Of King Crazy
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/ronpaulhoax.jpg
A flaming wall of evidence for the reality of global warming is burning in Ron Paul’s own back yard. Yet, he still calls climate change just a hoax. Texas is paying the price for his arrogant refusal to admit that he was wrong about global warming. Global warming is real. Ron Paul is a hoax.

High Divorce Governor Rick Perry Preaches Against Same-Sex Marriage
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/marriedantiperrybump.jpg
The latest American Community Survey report on marriage and divorce by the Census Bureau reports that, in New York State, where same-sex marriage was recently legalized, 7.3 women per 1,000 get divorced. In Texas, where Rick Perry is the top executive, the divorce rate is much higher, at 11.9 women per 1,000. Why would anyone think that he should be elected President to defend marriage?

Robert Reich for President
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/reichforpresident.jpg
On September 7 and 8, Robert Reich will be speaking in Iowa. Wouldn’t it be great if, during those speeches, Reich announced that he would run a progressive economic primary challenge to Barack Obama in 2012?

Mitt Romney Flops On Global Warming
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/ecologistsromney.jpg
Once Mitt Romney said that he supported reducing greenhouse gases that cause global warming. Then the right wing radicals asked him to change his mind. Now Romney says that he doesn’t want to spend to reduce greenhouse gases.

Romney Expands As Working Families Struggle
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/workingfamiliesantiromney.jpg
The Romney 2012 campaign has acknowledged that Romney family is planning to quadruple the size of its California beach house because, at over 3,000 square feet, “it is inadequate for their needs.”

Where Eisenhower Would Have Found Spending Cuts
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/eisenhowertheftbumper.jpg
If Eisenhower had witnessed the sham debt ceiling debate in Congress, he would have repeated his advice to the American people that every gun, warship and rocket we manufacture is a theft from Americans who hunger and from the hopes of our children.

Rick Perry, Another Texas Governor For President? Are You Kidding Me?
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/rickperryprezbumpthumb.jpg
Has it not occurred to Rick Perry that the American people associate Republican governors of Texas in the White House with disaster? Seriously, George W. Bush has been consistently rated as one of the worst presidents in American history. Why would Americans rush to support a repetition of that political tradition?

Why I’ll Be Paying Attention To Michele Bachmann’s Religious Beliefs
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/bachmannlovesjesus.jpg
We aren’t trying to make a religious test that Michele Bachmann has to pass to qualify for public office. Michele Bachmann is – and she’s working to apply that religious test to everyone else. It’s in order to defend the separation of church and state that we need to examine the religious agenda that Michele Bachmann has insisted on making a part of the 2012 presidential election contest.
Kent Mesplay a Real Liberal Alternative To Barack Obama
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/mesplay.jpg
Barack Obama posed with some liberal policies in 2008, but Kent Mesplay is the real deal. You get a sense of his direct politics when Mesplay identifies climate change, not global warming or the budget deficit, as the most serious problem of our times.

From Yes We Can To Yes We Cave In
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/08/yeswecavein.jpg
In the 2012 presidential campaign season, Barack Obama has replaced Yes We Can with Yes We Cave In. He caved in on health care reform. He caved in on climate change. He caved in on Bush’s tax cuts for the rich. He caved in on war. He caved in on the Office of Faith Based Initiatives. He caved in on government surveillance under the Patriot Act and the FISA Amendments Act. Now, Barack Obama has caved in to the Tea Party Republicans and agreed to big budget cuts – without any shared sacrifice in the form of increased revenue from corporations and wealthy Americans.

Should We Accept Bitcoin For Bumper Stickers And Buttons?
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/bitcoin.jpg
Bitcoins are a currency that’s not based in the dollar, or in any other national currency. They’re purely electronic, so there are no actual coins that represent Bitcoins. Should Irregular Times accept Bitcoins as payment for bumper stickers and buttons?
Vampire Slayers Against Michele Bachmann

Tim Pawlenty Flip Flops On Global Warming
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/scientistspawlentysticker.jpg
Just a few years ago, Tim Pawlenty publicly agreed that global warming is caused largely by human activities. Now, he claims that there is no scientific basis for believing humans have anything to do with climate change. Which Pawlenty do you believe?
