What Kind of Presidential Candidate Is Rocky Anderson?

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/rockyandersonbutton.jpg

Rocky Anderson was the only mayor of any major U.S. city to advocate the impeachment of George W. Bush. He actually went to Washington D.C. to stand in front of the U.S. Capitol as part of an impeachment rally. He’s received awards from Code Pink, the Sierra Club, and the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, among other groups. He supports full legal equality for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender Americans. He supports the occupation movement. Anderson left the Democratic Party this summer because of its failure to stand up against right wing politics. Anderson calls the Democratic Party “a gutless, unprincipled party, bought and paid for by the same interests that buy and pay for the Republican Party.”

Jill Stein Refuses To Co-Opt Occupy Wall Street To Her Advantage

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/jillsteinfor99.jpg

Instead of bringing the occupation movement into her “fold”, Jill Stein committed to use what political power she could muster to support the occupation movement. Instead of co-opting the 99 percent for her political advantage, she wants to become a servant of the 99 percent. That’s the opposite of what Barack Obama did in 2008.

The 99 Percent Says No To Herman Cain’s 9 9 9 Plan

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/hermancain99.jpg

Stop blaming millionaires and billionaires who send their money to offshore tax havens, Herman Cain said, and stop blaming corporations that outsource jobs to China and Pakistan. “Rather than protest against Wall Street, those camped out in the streets should examine their own failures and take a hard look in the mirror.”

We Are The 99 Percent

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/wearethe99percent.jpg

The top 1 percent is hoarding the money the economy needs to get moving again, but we in the 99 percent have the huge majority of votes, and we can vote the financial elites out of office, putting representatives of the 99 percent in place.

Global Warming is Real. Rick Perry is a Fake.

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/gwrealrpfake.jpg

As the Governor of Texas, Rick Perry has refused to do anything to stop his state’s disproportionate contribution to global warming. What’s more, Governor Perry has ridiculed those leaders who have tried to confront the problem. Global warming has scientifically been linked to bigger and more frequent wildfires. Over all the years that Rick Perry has been in the Governor’s Mansion in Austin, he has acted to increase the risk of extreme wildfires. Now 852 Texas homes have been destroyed in only 48 hours. Let Them Play Putt Putt!

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/paulbrounbutton.jpg

Republican politicians in Washington D.C. have been complaining that working Americans are declaring “class warfare” simply by asking that their Social Security and Medicare be left alone, but statements like this one from Paul Broun show that the class warfare has already been declared – not by the poor, but by the wealthy, hiding from reality in their gated communities. Is Iraq An American Asset Now?

http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/peacemccotter.jpg

When Thaddeus McCotter calls Iraq an asset, he’s referring to it as if it’s a piece of property owned by the United States. Such an unwise statement is unbecoming a candidate for President, as well as being inaccurate.

A nation that oppresses people on the basis of sexual orientation is intolerant of other forms of noncomformity as well. Michele Bachmann’s crusade against marriage for gay and lesbian couples is a concern for intelligent heterosexuals as much as anyone.
