Global Warming is Real. Rick Perry is a Fake.
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/gwrealrpfake.jpg
As the Governor of Texas, Rick Perry has refused to do anything to stop his state’s disproportionate contribution to global warming. What’s more, Governor Perry has ridiculed those leaders who have tried to confront the problem. Global warming has scientifically been linked to bigger and more frequent wildfires. Over all the years that Rick Perry has been in the Governor’s Mansion in Austin, he has acted to increase the risk of extreme wildfires. Now 852 Texas homes have been destroyed in only 48 hours. Rick Perry has fiddled while Texas burns.

Let Them Play Putt Putt!
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/paulbrounbutton.jpg
Republican politicians in Washington D.C. have been complaining that working Americans are declaring “class warfare” simply by asking that their Social Security and Medicare be left alone, but statements like this one from Paul Broun show that the class warfare has already been declared – not by the poor, but by the wealthy, hiding from reality in their gated communities. Paul Broun advises working Americans to make up the difference by stopping payment on their “country club dues”.

Should We Accept Bitcoin For Bumper Stickers And Buttons?
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/bitcoin.jpg
Bitcoins are a currency that’s not based in the dollar, or in any other national currency. They’re purely electronic, so there are no actual coins that represent Bitcoins. Should Irregular Times accept Bitcoins as payment for bumper stickers and buttons?
Is Iraq An American Asset Now?
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/peacemccotter.jpg
When Thaddeus McCotter calls Iraq an asset, he’s referring to it as if it’s a piece of property owned by the United States. Such an unwise statement is unbecoming a candidate for President, as well as being inaccurate.

Proud Gay Men Against Michele Bachmann
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/proudgaymenbachmann.jpg
A nation that oppresses people on the basis of sexual orientation is intolerant of other forms of noncomformity as well. Michele Bachmann’s crusade against marriage for gay and lesbian couples is a concern for intelligent heterosexuals as much as anyone.

With New Terms, CafePress Seizes Effective Ownership of Designers’ Content
Today, an American corporation dominated by Sequoia Capital seized effective ownership rights over millions of images, but you won’t hear a peep about it. CafePress is a print-on-demand corporation that works by building relationships with people in two ways. The …

Michele Bachmann wants to destroy Medicare. She wants to destroy Social Security. She wants to destroy the environment. Nice sentiments. But has she gotten the job done?

Are You One? Are You One Of The Not Ones?
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/lincolnsavetheunionbtn.jpg
It’s the anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. – a leader who was killed as he was helping workers to organize in Memphis, Tennessee. I was thinking of the idea of union as I read about the protests across America today, so many people coming together with the same idea, and an image of another assassinated leader, Abraham Lincoln came to mind.

No Fly Zone An Idea Whose Time Has Come, Back In The 1990s
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/nbfolibyabutton.jpg
Moammar Qaddafi is being brutal to his own people, yes. There is no good justification for his actions, but brutal crackdowns are taking place in other nations as well – Bahrain and the Ivory Coast, for example. The United States is planning war in Libya, but not in those other nations, for one reason: Libya has massive amounts of oil, and the other nations do not.

Teachers Against Cuomo. Parents Against Cuomo. Students Against Cuomo!
http://irregulartimes.com/teachersanticuomo.jpg
I don’t care that he’s a Democrat. I don’t care that he’s a Cuomo. It’s time for the parents, teachers and students of New York State to show Andrew Cuomo that they will not be kicked to the curb so that the financial elites who funded Cuomo’s campaign can continue without any sacrifice to their luxuries.
