Democracy Managed: Sponheim campaign recording of Americans Elect reveals new strategy for Not Releasing Donor Names
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/jakebrewerwithalreadyfilledinpad01282012.png
Self-proclaimed “centrist” presidential candidate David Jon Sponheim and an associate have been live-streaming the proceedings of an Americans Elect “conference” being held in California. I put the word “conference” in quotes because there’s not much “co” to the proceedings. Facilitator …

Newt Gingrich Lies About His Lobbyist Past
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/gingrichlobbyinglies.jpg
Why won’t Gingrich just admit that he was a lobbyist? If Gingrich acknowledges the truth, he may open himself to criminal prosecution. It’s against the law (the Lobbying Disclosure Act) to lobby the federal government without officially registering as a lobbyist.

Lady Lynn Forester De Rothschild Violates Americans Elect Rules With Big Money Party For Jon Huntsman
http://irregulartimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/ladylynnforesterrothschild.jpg
The fundraiser, held at one of the homes of Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, at 435 East 52nd Street in New York City, was a “cocktail reception” where attendees were required to contribute at least $1,000 in exchange for having drinks and hors d’ouevres with Jon Huntsman, who attended the Lady’s fundraiser himself. The money gathered at Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild’s cocktail party went directly to the Jon Huntsman for President campaign. This is in clear violation of the bylaws of Americans Elect, an organization that Lady de Rothschild belongs to, as a member of the Board of Advisors.
Over 2 Million Spent By Anonymous Donors For Gingrich In Just One Day

Paris charged that Gregg Phillips, director of Winning Our Future, a Super PAC working to promote the presidential campaign of Newt Gingrich, helped institute policies that provided cheap labor to casinos in Tunica, Mississippi, by forcing recipients in government assistance programs to take low-paying jobs at the casinos. That’s a particularly interesting fact given that the one source of funding for Winning Our Future that we know of is Sheldon Adelson, the billionaire who made his fortune in the casino business.
Americans Elect Officer Stages Promotional Videos with Buddy Roemer
Americans Elect is not supposed to be in the business of communicating or acting in favor of any presidential campaign. But the corporation just can’t help itself. Its latest act is to stage a fake video q-and-a session with Republican Buddy Roemer, asking questions to which it and Roemer already know the answers.
