We at Irregular Times are ardent admirers of the burgeoning new online culture. But it's important to remember that we live in a real flesh-and-blood world as well. In that world, what we see strongly influences the way we think and feel about issues of the day.
Posters in particular mark our identity to others, serving as quick little announcements of who we are and what we stand for at a particular time. Placing a message in a public place helps others who are of the same mind as you, but who suffer from a bit more shyness, feel more secure in dissenting from the stifling voices of today's authority. In times past, posters would be placed in public squares, and although some people decide not to do this any more, there's no reason you can't buck that trend. There are other places where you can make a smaller-scale stand: in your house, apartment or dorm room, a well-placed poster of provocation can be a great way to start a conversation going.
We offer these posters through our online shop of progressive paraphernalia. We hope that you'll go and grab a couple, and send a little piece subversion to your friends and family. Keep in mind that because of our dedication to progressive political causes, we spend 20 percent of our profits on furthering progressive political causes. This helps you send a message in two ways at once: Through the mail and with your wallet.
Merry postering!
