jesus christ smashes earthThere are those of us who have believed in the teachings of science. We have valued the scientific method of discovery. We have promoted the worth of evidence and logical thinking when compared to credulity and faith.

We have, therefore believed that global warming is a significant problem. After all, the weight of evidence has, until now, strongly supported the conclusion that global warming is real and has been strongly contributed to by human activities.

Now, everything has changed. Now, we have evidence that the Earth is cooling, not getting warmer.

Nothing makes it plainer than two photographs of the Earth, one taken a few years ago, and one taken just this week. Both of these photographs were made possible by Jesus.

A few years ago, I ran into Jesus as he was strolling through the cosmos, carrying the Earth with him, as he is wont to do. He's got the whole world in his hands, as they say. He lifted up the planet to show to me, and it looked much as I had come to expect it to. There was not a cloud in the sky, and the continents were all a rich, warm green.

Yesterday, I ran into Jesus again, this time in the ethereal realm, a high plane of interplanetary space. He remembered when we had last met, and asked me, "Wanna see the Earth again?"

As you can see from this photograph of that I took, glaciers have covered almost all of North America. Sea ice clogs the Northern Atlantic. An immense iceberg has lodged itself along the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica and Panama., and glaciers have formed in equatorial Brazil, blocking the waters of the Amazon River from reaching the Atlantic Ocean.

The Earth had cooled so much that Jesus was covered with a light, white dusting of frost just from holding it in his hands.

As everyone knows, photographs don't lie. Either you don't believe this evidence, or you must conclude that global warming is a hoax. If you don't believe these photographs, just go ask the Petroleum Council.
