Pro-Kerry HaikuFor a few years now, we've built up a collection of anti-Bush haiku. That's all well and good, but we know that many people prefer a more positive approach to politics. For them, and for those who just want an opportunity to ponder the Democratic contender for President of the United States, we're starting a collection of haiku written in support of Senator John Kerry.
We don't just want to show haiku, of course. We want you to contribute to this collection to help it grow.
The rules of haiku, an ancient form of Japanese poetry, are simple. There are three lines. The first and third lines have five syllables. The middle line has seven syllables. That's all there is to it.
To submit your own pro-Kerry haiku for consideration, just email it to us, and we'll get it up online ever as soon as we can.
