You know, the more I read the New York Times the more I realize those Manhattan financial district reporters may be awfully smart but still don’t have a clue what they’re talking about. They keep telling the rest of us what we “need to understand.”
When we suffered, Wall Street told us to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps. Now that it’s having economic problems, Wall Street is asking us to lend it our bootstraps, so that it can pull itself back up.
